It seems .PRO is slowly coming out of the cage with cheaper reg prices than they were a year ago and major registrars like netsol taking notice of the extension and promoting it.

I've got a handful of one word dictionary words

Any one word just doesn't work in .pro, the keyword needs commercial intent or be usable as a company brand.

Plus a lot of companies prefer kwpro .com because it's just all they know. I've actually had a couple of customers moving from kwpro .tld to kw .pro but those aren't very common.

I do see long term potential in .pro, which is why I invested in them so long ago.
