It seems .PRO is slowly coming out of the cage with cheaper reg prices than they were a year ago and major registrars like netsol taking notice of the extension and promoting it.

This rule is effective since Oct'2015... when NEW Agreement with ICANN was reached.
And I never saw any country-reservations in .PRO before this date...

The domain is registered a few months before Oct 2015. I tried to access the domain before registering it, but it redirected to a. Pro registry page that is why I assumed it was reserved. Maybe not, who knows.
