It seems .PRO is slowly coming out of the cage with cheaper reg prices than they were a year ago and major registrars like netsol taking notice of the extension and promoting it. B-)

Here are some that I picked up in last couple of days:

Alexandria.pro

Anchorage.pro

Arlington.pro

Belfast.pro

Birmingham.pro

Budapest.pro

Durham.pro

Fairfax.pro

Italian.pro

Lisbon.pro

Fire away with your regs after the relaunch on September 8th, 2008.

New Regs...

dorm.pro
dude.pro
gaia.pro
hula.pro
meme.pro
napa.pro
pict.pro
toon.pro

lori.pro
rita.pro

Does anyone have any thoughts on first names like the two above for use with Pro? Also, is anyone else having trouble with the Encirca site? I can log-in, but it's not letting me register domains. :-/

Thanks.

Hey, you are the one who registered my name!

In fact, I had this on my list more than a year ago, but I already had registered so many domains then, so I first wanted to think about it. I thought too long, suddenly it was gone! :]

It's a great name. What I like most is that this name fits so well to the .pro extension: It's especially useful for professional writers. :gn:

Anyone have opinions on my other .pros -

author.pro
comics.pro
indian.pro
join.pro
lamp.pro
layout.pro
layouts.pro
livepoker.pro
pipe.pro

Great names, I love LAMP.pro, can be used for couple of things!

My partner in crime (domaining) registered Parlor.pro and Macon.pro (a city in Georgia, USA).

I think parlor.pro is a great name at this stage in the game...

Beauty.parlor.pro
Massage.parlor.pro

and if you really get creative with it, you have couple of other uses. :D

http://www.whoisd.com/oldestcom.php for the 100 Oldest .coms.

Of the 3, I think Things.pro is the strongest. MyThings.com sold for $24,195 and Things.net sold for $3,519.

Thanks, thought of Linux Apache mySQL PHP but can just as easily be used for the high value electrical fittings industry.

Actually if you crunch the numbers on the names I've listed above you'll see that all of them have metrics that are simply off the charts, for eg. goog has 1,260,000,000 results for join. :o

Yeah, there is a huge difference between the two as well as far as CPC/PPC and search engine results are concerned.
