The .PRO Discussion

[InvisionTech]

It seems .PRO is slowly coming out of the cage with cheaper reg prices than they were a year ago and major registrars like netsol taking notice of the extension and promoting it.

Here are some that I picked up in last couple of days:

Alexandria.pro

Anchorage.pro

Arlington.pro

Belfast.pro

Birmingham.pro

Budapest.pro

Durham.pro

Fairfax.pro

Italian.pro

Lisbon.pro

Fire away with your regs after the relaunch on September 8th, 2008.

I've been meaning to post this for a couple weeks, but kept forgetting to snap the pic when I passed it. Here's a billboard in Chicago for TURNKEY.PRO:

Any new offline-ads?

As of now Transfer-in of .PRO doesn't work on 1and1 at all - I didn't receive any transfer-authorization emails... trying to fix this issue via their Support...
Also have tested .PRO-Registration - here no problems, instantly got Supergirl.

[Jurgen Wolf]

Per my request .PRO-backorders are now available at Dynadot... from $8.99

[Jurgen Wolf]

As of April'9 only 4.6% of .PROs are considered as bad by Spamhaus...

Full actual list: https://www.spamhaus.org/statistics/tlds/

7.7% as of May'9.

[Jurgen Wolf]

If anyone is interested: ccTLD.PRO - available as of now...
gTLD.PRO - Reserved
nTLD.PRO - Chinese registrant

Taken by Russian domainer.

[Jurgen Wolf]

All good .PROs are snapped today, no any handregs.

[Jurgen Wolf]

Dynadot got only 2 of them: shows, pump.

So, PRO.DOMAINS (2.0) is now live!

Many thanks to webmaster and MediaWizard, mwzd, who performed the digital heavy lifting! The site is a work in progress, and I welcome any thoughts, suggestions and opinions from other NP members.
