New sites are popping up everywhere, but take note that without a core monetization model this may happen:

Click.tv users received the following letter:

" Dear Click.TV User:

Effective June 8, the Click.TV Player will be shut down. Thus, videos
placed on web pages using the Click.TV Player will not play. If you
would like to continue playing those videos on your web page(s), we
suggest that you replace the Click.TV Player with another video
player.

While I regret this shutdown, I am very excited by the reason behind
it. You’ll be seeing Click.TV technology very soon doing *much* bigger
and better things.

Lastly, I want to thank you wholeheartedly for your interest in and
support of Click.TV. Customers like you, along with your videos, are
incredibly important to us.

I dont read it like that. I think he has been approached with a new idea for the site and maybe some financing for bigger and better things. Not sure, but I would guess, he has changed tact with the site... click.tv seems a waste of a great name to be just used as a video "you tube site"

You might be right BDM1, however, it is never a good thing for a company to shut down a major service if they are on a upswing, imo. If you are upgrading you can keep the existing venue while working on dev in the background right.

yes, I agree to a certain extent.. I dont know the site to be honest. ok, I just had a look... If I had that name, I wouldnt be looking at that type of catergory for it..
I say close it and get with some one creative to find a theme.
I cannot believe that site has won awards to be honest... what a fantastic name..
my two cents, just my opinion.

It so easy, being on the outside looking in... I apologise if anyone is offended by my remark, I just dont get it.
