$5.84 for .org and 22 cents for .cn on Dec 31

I couldn't bump the other name.com threads since I was the last to post in them, however I just registered 3 .org domains at Name.com today for $5.84 each! And the .cn I registered was 22 cents :) This must be an unadvertised special last day discount. Enjoy :tu:

The edit is because I actually tried to register 4 .org domains, but one of them failed for some reason so I registered it at Dynadot instead. Maybe there is a limit to how many .org domains you can register (3?), otherwise I don't know why it would have failed. Maybe just a glitch, it wouldn't be the first time ;)

Might be a limit becuase at $5.84 they are losing more since it costs them more from the registry but then again they were selling .com at a loss for a long time at $6.

weird stuff

Something interesting happened about a half hour ago. I was putting a bunch of .org domains in my basket, and once again I noticed an option to use "25.00" credit (I first mentioned this in the name.com 12 days of Xmas thread.) I emptied my basket enough to use the credit, but I got a pop-up once again saying "you do not have enough funds in your account for this purchase". This is quite a dissapointing glitch! :yell:

Then when I went to check out with a couple .org domains, the order did not go through  At least my bank account is getting a rest now :hehe:

.IN transfers promo or coupon?

I'm looking for a good registrar to transfer my .IN domains.
I have quite a few of them, so the price is important for me.

Currently, there is an .IN promo at ResellerClub and this is a smart move - previous big .IN promo ended exactly one year ago and Directi now trying to hit those who still haven't renewed their .IN domains.

Maybe some of you (Kellie? :)) have any information about upcoming Name.com promos and know anything about .IN discounts?

Cheap .IN transfers or renewals? .IN promos? Name.com promo for .IN?

I'm currently looking for a registrar to transfer my .IN domains. Year ago I registered few .IN domains during .IN promo and now looking for a cheapest way to renew them.

But maybe some of you have any information about upcoming Name.com promos? Kellie? :)

name.com is better than godaddy

I have domains in godaddy, but I feel like Godaddy stole my domains when i leave to expire, because they put your domains in auction and always there are persons that wants the domains that you don't renew.

In other registrars you can recover your domains expired, whit no risk that other person get your domain to use it in fake sites only to get traffic.

Cool NPENBY worked for me just now but not right away,
first I had to empty my cart and put the domains back in...strange.

ResellerClub always has promos running... I am sure their Indian Market must have loved the ongoing .in promo...

Still Working for .com registration!
Try applying code to a single domain in a cart...

May be it helps...

James, I am a complete plank. I generally buy .com and .org and had a .net in my cart, used the coupon I'm now used to using (LORENA) which is, as I would have found out if I'd read correctly, the wrong one for .net.
People of the Interweb, please disregard my previous post.

:p

Just worked for me, thanks!
Glad that Name.com is having more coupon code to retain customers.
I had moved some to Godaddy earlier, but still prefer Name.com 's cleaner interface if pricing are close.
