Tivo said:IMO simplicity is key. Everything usually starts out small and grows larger. By just doing .coms to start is very good idea because the market is there and there is demand. This will ensure that marketplace takes off. If you saturate it will extensions like .biz and .org, you will see many names going un sold and over looked.
I think once BQB.com grows a bit and gets high amounts of traffic with regular buyers you can expect to see .net and other extensions to follow.
Use the year you were born i.e. 1988 not the full date![]()
Why British courts? I thought you were Canadian? These Terms of Service shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and any disputes will be decided only by the Courts of England and Wales.
Perhaps you should change that to "some foreign nationals", or remove it completely? I'm sure BQB.com doesn't want to be accused of being xenophobic..In addition, note that there are risks of dealing with foreign nationals...

Anyway, good luck taking on the giants Sedo, TDNAM, and Afternic :tu:

I'm not familiar with all the laws surrounding internet commerce, but it was brought to everyone's attention that persons under 18 years of age can't be held accountable for their actions. I can certainly look into allowing members under 18 with the permission of their parents (I believe this is how Afternic currently operates).

VURG said:My recent concerns with BQB.com
a) I was disappointed to find out that BuyOut domains are not free. Buyout domains often attract a different type of customer than auctions. My experience is that this type of customer has less free time and often more disposable income. $1/listing is not too bad though.
b) I was confused by the term "Buy Out". I associate this term with a buy out clause (e.g. In Namepros auctions where the seller can compensate the buyer if they want to cancel the sale). I prefer a more common term like "Buy Now", "Fixed Price" or "Buy It Now".
c) I am concerned that there is not enough limitations to the number of auctions that can be started with the $99 joining fee. A large domain owner could saturate the site with their domains and make it difficult for the majority of us to sell in the market as our domains disappear in the mass. 100,000 auctions a week for only $99/year seems too cheap. I have seen this happen before.
d) Maybe the expiry date and registra details should be listed in seperate sections of the domain listing. Every buyer wants to know these details.
In regards to your marketing, buyers attract sellers and bargains attract buyers. I think that you would get better value for money making sure that you provide daily bargains on the site (domains that are valued >$30 with a starting bid of $1) and let word of mouth sell the site. If you treat the losses through this style of marketing as marketing expenses then it shouldn't be too stressful.

Thanks,

Reece said:Hi Antonio,
Currently only Moneybookers is accepted for account funding. I'll be accepting Paypal shortly once I get the interface setup.
I funded your account with a $50 credit -- a gift for everything you've done for LLLL.coms![]()
