Hello, I think it would be pretty useful to keep track of all LLLL.com sales , even the little ones under $100 so that , pretty soon , when the available LLLL.com will be finished , we`ll have a better idea on market prices.

It is important that these sales are confirmed. So before to post, make sure payment went OK.

Average sale prices on eBay for June were well up against May's average. This is the fourth consecutive monthly rise, and June's average was the best on eBay since September 2008. Here's an analysis of trends over the past 12 months. As always, I've excluded domains selling for more than $100 as I consider them outliers on eBay. All averages below are based on trendlines calculated from weekly figures, so smoothing out irregularities.

Over the past 12 months mean prices rose at an average rate of about $0.99 a month, a total of $11.89 over the period. The trend showed a rise from $8.82 to $20.72, which is a rise of 81% based on the midpoint.

Over the past 9 months mean prices rose at an average rate of about $0.97 a month.

Over the past 6 months mean prices rose at an average rate of about $2.14 a month.

Over the past 3 months mean prices rose at an average rate of about $3.96 a month.

Monthly means were -

Average remaining registration rose very slightly over the 12-month period. This rise deducts about 2 cents from the monthly price rise, bringing the effective price rise down to about $0.97 a month.

Average domain quality also rose over the 12-month period. This rise deducts about 13 cents from the monthly price rise, bringing the effective price rise down to about $0.84 a month.

Here are the percentile trends for the 12-month period -

The 5th percentile rose from $0.57 to $6.37, an increase of 167% based on the midpoint.

The 25th percentile rose from $3.19 to $10.48, an increase of 107% based on the midpoint.

The 50th percentile rose from $6.27 to $15.17, an increase of 83% based on the midpoint.

The 75th percentile rose from $8.99 to $25.98, an increase of 97% based on the midpoint.

The 95th percentile rose from $29.23 to $51.83, an increase of 56% based on the midpoint.

I can't see the 'possible' 10K value of YUUP being based on it's brandability/web 2.0 flair since the double U completely kills it imho.....too confusing with yup and I personally have no idea how to pronounce 2 U's together... if a legit sale I bet it has something more to do with being the established acronym for some big biz somewhere.....

Partialy agree with you but:

(+) there were more than two bidders
(-) looks like none of them is verified (10k limit on sedo)

One possible pronounce i came to is "YU Up"

... we should wait if it change owner and see what it is

How did you sell most of yours? Just curious, I am new to domaining and I have a couple of 4 letter ones but dont know how to attract a buyer to them

Thanks guys for the info. My next question is will you consider to buy the domain name if the CVCV contain what like the above ( so called bad letters ) when the price is around $350?
