Hello, I think it would be pretty useful to keep track of all LLLL.com sales , even the little ones under $100 so that , pretty soon , when the available LLLL.com will be finished , we`ll have a better idea on market prices.

It is important that these sales are confirmed. So before to post, make sure payment went OK.

I will start with todays` Sedo confirmed sales:

FISE.com 2,700 Euros
TSRT.com US $760
VEUP.com US $1,700

Also, I found interesting to see this average LLLL, getting bids up to $51 and reserve not me. It says it all.

This part is really trange.. FMA is amongst the bidders!
Why would they MANUALLY drop a domain, and bid on its auction??
Well, the drop has been initiated by the registrar in compliance with the UDRP ruling.

Haven't been following LLLL's as much lately, how have they been doing? I know I've been getting a ton of offers on my hono .com (up to the high xxxx). What are names like that worth now days? Triple premiums? Quads? Three letter? BBAA .com?

Thanks for the input, I feel lost after not paying much attention for a couple months.

BIBI.com is another perfect example of reverse domain hijacking

What will stop the next winner to lose the domain again? At this point: nothing.

Clearly this industry is not well regulated.

Not only was the BIBI.com decision ridiculous, the decision was made to drop the domain and now there is an auction with 269 bidders already over $15,000.

That is just stupid.

1.) If FMA wins a judgment like with LH.com then what. Is the new owner forced to take the loss and give it back?
2.) Will the BIBI.com UDRP winner file against the new owner. Will this just create a continuous cycle.

It really makes no sense. There is no way I would touch it.

Welcome back Ali! :)

I told you to hold on that one and it will pay off. high $x,xxx sound good but I think you still can get low $xx,xxx for it.

Try LLLLsales.com .. it will give you a good idea.

Thanks,

am VERY curious to see where BIBI ends..... and the aftermath. I wanted to say that, in cases where a domain is legally forced to be dropped, it should only be allowed to actually drop and NOT be auctioned (for a profit) by auction houses.... but suppose that is unrealistic (where would they draw the line?), or even unnecessary, despite seeming easy enough to flag a UDRP affected domain. Anywho, will see i suppose.

Here is the BIBI.com WIPO decision WIPO Domain Name Decision: D2009-1778

This is funny : The Complainant having succeeded with the Complaint, the Respondentโ€™s allegation of reverse domain name hijacking is rejected.

This domain was indeed dropped, then reregistered 2 days ago. The new registrant (Snapnames and/or partner) have chosen to sell their domain and it's now on auction.

If you invested time and money and happened to be the new registrant of this domain, do you think you should be refused the right to sell your domain if you wanted to? For how long? A year? Maybe two years? Would you be allowed to agree on transferring the domain for free? Would the police be allowed to come by your house looking for written contracts to transfer the domain in two years and one day? What jurisdiction would apply?

yeah.... that's what I meant about being unrealistic and unnecessary, despite seeming "wrong" on some level (to me anyways) for auction houses to profit from UDRP forced drops..... but business is business and it would be a fine line, or even double standard, to bar a registrar/auction house from selling a domain but not a "person" that was lucky enough to pick such a domain up on a drop.....

we have the so called "WIPO experts" that have simply "donated" a free meal to Snappy.

And the next buyer will enjoy so much not knowing how easily that domain will be challenged again.

This is simply too stupid, someone should give a ring to those experts, the "ICANN'T DO anything" and the rest of this circus.

esci.com is at $3,100 at Snap with almost two days left. Several active bidders have pushed it up to that level. Is it really that great?

And bibi.com now at $16,000 also at Snap - closing tonight.

thanks for posting the link, doxy..... interesting read.

has the auction for bibi taken place already or is something amiss in whois? after weeks of "no match" for registrant/contact info (after FMA's info), the contact info for 2010-05-24 lists a persons name with an email at googlemail.com, the next day is privacy protected and 2010-05-26 it is again "no match" for contact info...? seems odd. Did the auction already end and, if so, what was the final price? If the auction isn't over that registrant blurb is interesting....

thanks Brad! Wowsers......

hmm, I wonder what the 1 day registrant info for "kaifu lee" / namevoice@... and 1 day of privacy protect was all about on the 24th and 25th if the auction was still running? odd....
