Hello, I think it would be pretty useful to keep track of all LLLL.com sales , even the little ones under $100 so that , pretty soon , when the available LLLL.com will be finished , we`ll have a better idea on market prices.

It is important that these sales are confirmed. So before to post, make sure payment went OK.

I will start with todays` Sedo confirmed sales:

FISE.com 2,700 Euros
TSRT.com US $760
VEUP.com US $1,700

Also, I found interesting to see this average LLLL, getting bids up to $51 and reserve not me. It says it all.

My comment wasn't in regards to you, but to someone who posted a huge list of LLLL.net's and LLLLL.com's for sale in this thread. I told them to move it to the for sale section of NP.

And thanks for the update Wordsworth. That's amazing how fast they were snapped up!

I didn't win it unfortunately. The bidding went much higher than I was prepared to pay.

494 LLLL.com domains recently dropped and are now available to register. Please click the top link in my signature to view the list for free. I'll try to keep this list updated as names are taken. Edit 11:04 GMT: 69 of the 494 are taken already. Edit 11:08 GMT: 315 of the 494 are now taken. These are going very quickly! Edit 11:11 GMT: Only zvhu.com left now. 493 names were registered within 11 minutes of them becoming available! Edit 11:14 GMT: All 494 names taken.

I just dont get it...Domainers are buying LLLLs all the time, as soon as they come available. But why? surly the aim is to find an end-user which isn't likely to happen on unpronounceable unbrandable 'junk' (imho) Fair enough they can sell to other domainers for a small profit but surly that makes the buyer a bit of a fool...well im confusing myself now so ill just stop :D lol

Domainers are buying LLLL's and making money on them. Noobs and other various registrars are hoarding these names because they don't know any better. Most Domainers know what names are worth money, Noobs do not !!

Will these big drops affect the LLLL.com prices?

Resellers maybe. When an end user needs a specific domain, it doesn't really matter whether all LLLL are taken or not.

there is no junk if they mean something, whatever letters they are, they can be some else`s acronym.

Some domainers still believe that some letters are "bad" and some are "p.....m" I can`t spell it :P but its all about statistics and endusers` needs.

Please educate yourself. There are many info available on this topic.

In a nutshell, there could be more interested endusers for something like "XWZQ.com" rather than for "GDSR.com"

most of western domainers would still pay more for the second one simply because statistically some letters have proven easier to attract bids and or get an enduser offer (please note that i have not checked these example nor if these are developed or not).

It does not mean that the first one could not get more. Some people bet on the statistics and by doing that they create a self-fulfilling value on such names , creating virtually a reason for those to be more valuable but its all questionable with the increasing pressure of non western users.

I think, we`ll see more if the coming new idn.idn will reduce demand for some LLLL.com

Given the numbers of potential future new internet users I doubt it. But that`s just my little opinion.

Thanks

i dont think so, the idn.idn domains are just gonna be another bubble, like the REVOLUTIONARY .mobi

Chinese prefer pinyin .com domains rather than IDN's in their own language, I don't see why idn.idn's will change anything...

It's gonna stay king com until the entire internet will be changed to mind control (lol, and maybe even then)
