The LLLL.com sales and discussion thread

Hello, I think it would be pretty useful to keep track of all LLLL.com sales , even the little ones under $100 so that , pretty soon , when the available LLLL.com will be finished , we`ll have a better idea on market prices.

It is important that these sales are confirmed. So before to post, make sure payment went OK.

I will start with todays` Sedo confirmed sales:

Also, I found interesting to see this average LLLL, getting bids up to $51 and reserve not me. It says it all.

Nem0 you are exactly right!

There are many variables - especially when finding deals on ebay.

Sometimes a person may list a spectacular name with a title like:

MySpectacularDomain.com for sale

Eliminating the name from most searches.

I prefer to look up names on ebay by category, ordered by time ending or highest priced and without search terms so the poorly constructed auctions show up - as these are typically where the best value is.



It is common to see a so so name sell for 5 dollars that could be immediately relisted with better keywords, a cleaner listing and/or a better seller rating and voila - it sells for 15 dollars.

I'll repost what I also posted in the .mobi section -- I think for many people it's time to start thinking about how their domains are going to make money for them. If you can make enough off domain development or end user sales to cover renewals and initial expenses, you're in pretty good shape. I've begun working on several development projects the past few months -- just makes sense in these uncertain times to at least have a revenue source which is consistently bringing in money.

very good words. And as you can see my sig, I turned into development (with another very trusted and nice NP'er) even if they are minisites. Diversification is very important, and not just in domaining.

Flipping will be a lot harder from now on, especially mass flipping as some people did.

Nice times, more entertaining, even if to be honest tough ones.
