Thanks for the "Rep"!

To register a .CA domain you do not necessarily need to be Canadian but just need to have a Canadian presence, like a company, relative or friend that you trust and have a Canadian address.

I register my .CA domains at 10dollar.ca. So far so good.

Even more astounding is that one of them is actually a word! I am unable to register as I have no legitimate right to a .ca domain.

oik.ca is amazing. The keys are all right next to each other. The dictionary meaning is: Brit derogatory, slang a person regarded as inferior because ignorant, ill educated or lower class. Over 1 mill Google returns...

That's right, a three letter dictionary word domain! I just checked and it's still available! Unreal. Grab it while you still can.

Matt.

Next list.

I don't think K is considered premium...not many words begin with a K. Say...can you do a scan with the J's (no K) + premium? :)

oik.ca is not a word but it is a typo of oil.ca - and one I've contemplated buying a half-dozen times in the past months.

I don't buy this 'premium' letter notion. A non-premium letter to one person is an essential letter to someone else.

Case in point - fyo.ca and fpj.ca - both websites of mine with 'non-premium' letters. Both need their 'non-premium' letters for their titles. These are just two examples among thousands of real world examples. There are dozens of companies in Canada using LLL.ca domains with these so-called 'non-premium' letters. Of course some letters are going to have less overall demand but that shouldn't be the sole determining factor in what makes value in a LLL or not. Acronym meanings regardless of the letters counts for more in my book.

Oh and one more reason not to overlook 'non-premium' letters - zup.ca - almost 100 type-ins per month.

Now everyone go out and buy up those remaining LLL.ca's! :)

Excellent point WhiteBark!

I share the same point of view and regret when some people discard some otherwise nice domains just because other people said some letters are "non-premium".

Look these:
yum.com - Taco Bell
amw.com - America's most Wanted
ctv.ca - CTV News

... the ones I just remembered by memory.

3 letters are a rarity in any tld - eventually they will all be gone
obviously the "premium" and or pronounceables will go first
and a pronounceable with 2 "non-premium"
EZY.ca - :p

You got it. Every dictionary word in LLL.ca is gone - I've checked. I don't think there are any real pronouncable ones left either.

I'm surprised that so many LLL.ca's remain unregistered. Someone is going to snap them all up and that person could turn themselves a handsome profit in a couple years.

What I have noticed is that for the past couple of months ANY LLL that drops is snapped up. Even with these so called 'non-premium' letters, no acronym meaning, no expired links/traffic etc they are still going every wednesday to someone. I'm not sure where that is leading but it's nice to see them go!

That's what we .CA domain owners expect. And that they get quite valuable, soon!

Done the scan of ALL Available 3-Letter .CA Domains. Just 4,995 available, in total, including all letters in the alphabet.

Well even though my earlier post may have sounded "premium letter SNOOTY" (and most likely started this whole debate) I like the letters J and W myself. So there! :p

No not snooty! Everyone likes what they like!

The NNN's are also under 50 left. The auctions for the NNN's that dropped last week are getting heavy and heated and IMHO going for more than I thought they would. I didn't get into the auction for the one LLL I wanted from last week so I can't use it for a point of comparison.
