The IDN domain is a truly forgotten gold mine

The current domain name investment has entered a dead end, and the reason is very simple. With 26 English domain names combined for 150 million, you can imagine that valuable domain names have already been registered. Do you think there is still gold in English domain names? This gold mine was already depleted over a decade ago. How can the fur without skin be attached? So when I read various articles in NamePros that teach people how to invest in domain names, I laugh in my heart. Those macro articles are all nonsense. The mine with the suffix. com has long been a waste mine, and now the registration authority is trying to explore mines with other domain names. However, it will be proven that only the mine with the suffix. com produces gold, and the ores in mines with other suffixes are not gold, but iron, aluminum, coal. Only the. com mine has gold. The gold mines with the Latin letter. com have long been depleted, but the gold mines with Chinese characters. com, Hindi, Cyrillic... Western countries produce gold, but aren't gold mines elsewhere?

Domain conventions determine what's valuable and not. And when you do look at the domain conventions used in the West, in China, Russia, and so on, there are certain patterns--and Han characters and Cyrillic are not part of them.

Let's take a look at the Chinese domains. What does Temu use? What does Baidu use? What does Pinduoduo use? They use Pinyin domains, and they're among the ones setting the standard in China. So if you want to evoke the same legitimacy as these businesses you adhere to the standard. Granted, there are other domains used as well, Jingdong uses jd.com. But what you won't see is Han characters.

There are of course reasons to this beyond the conventions. For example convenience. When Chinese people are typing in an address in their search field they only have access to the Latin alphabet. So it's not as readily accessible as normal domains.

Real estate in Manhattan will remain valuable for the foreseeable future, and that's reinforced by its perception of value. The same goes for single-word .com:s.

If you want to laugh at others, you must have the ability. If you don't have the ability, just shut up honestly. Do you know the law of the jungle?

When you speak in such an arrogant tone,
That wasn't my intent. I simply was trying to explain that there's a reason behind the value of certain domains, and the standard has already been set.

Why would companies in Russia suddenly shift to Cyrillic domain names, and .com ones at that? The big companies in Russia have their domain names all sorted out, it's better for an international market, Russians are used to domain names being in the Latin alphabet, and so on. So why would they overhaul what clearly works? There's no reason for it, so it's extremely unlikely to happen.

I bought, sold, and re-transferred a couple of Spanish IDNs for a good amount of money. Dictionary words, obviously.
