The intent is to sell them together.
More than just a domain name - for the last 15 years it has been a brand in my eyes, ears and in my head.
I think it still is only it just won't be mine anymore

Even if you cut "the" out of the domain, it would be technically better, but still not great. Take what you can get, or drop. IMO
