Facebook to let users customize their profile addresses with nicknames

As title says, Facebook countdown has begun and, when finished, this page will let you choose your unique username. After you set your own, you can't edit it anymore, so it's important to be very careful. Obviously, many (including me) have started to think about the possible cybersquatting and the consequences it may have. Get ready to set yours, before someone steals it

Was going to take randomo (it was available), but snagged novelist instead, to inspire myself to finish some books I've started writing!

Hi guys

Just wondering is it possible to create a new - facebook home page/channel for the link with our new username url, etc??

If you wanted to create a sales info or business page, i was hoping to have - different or seperate from my friends & Profile in the regular - facebook social network??

Or if you - block certain people, does it show to them, I/You have blocked them ...etc. ??

Thanks.

Hey, just a word of caution. Facebook is actively taking away your name if it doesn't reflect your "real name". I had registered, "Find Friends" last night. Today I received this email (keep in mind this is "Find Friends"---Not "Trademark Name":

Hi Greg,

The username you selected was removed for violating Facebook's policies. A Facebook username should have a clear connection to one's identity. In addition, impersonating anyone or anything is prohibited. If you see other people with usernames that do not accurately represent their real names, it is only because they have not yet been removed for misuse.

To select a new username, please visit the following link:

Thanks for your understanding,
