I registered My2012.net and have started development, What do you think it may be worth? I know .net hurts alot. The .com and .org are registered but niether is in use.

I don't think .net hurts at all. It is a commonly used and alternative extension to .com. There are hundreds of reputable websites based on .net domains. The issue is with your name. Its life expectancy is merely 2 years or maybe less. It will be a waste of money and efforts to develop such a name.

the reason I regged this name was about a week ago I saw a guy on (i believe) the today show. They were doing a story on 2012 and he had a website 2012supplies.net, I thought well if he can do it why cant I. So that will be my goal with this one. Although I will also have relevant 2012 info. If the site makes me money for 2 years that would be great, I would then turn my focus to another project (assuming there is an earth left).
