Hey - A buyer wants to pay me with e-gold. I know nothing about it. Is this legit? Easy to work with? What should I know about it?
Thanks!
Thanks!

When someone's E-Gold account gets hacked, it's their own fault. Always. For example, someone downloads some "E-Gold hacking software" (trojan) and then compains that their own account got hacked and blames E-Gold....fleshas said:Very unsecure. And many users are from countrys, where paypal isn't avable. Lot's of users - under 18 years old. they can't register to any other company, but they want to get money, and uses as alternative. Unsecure? Lot's of users every day loses money by hacked accounts. Some years ago i had one. But now i am using different services.

I already have accounts with PayPal and Moneybookers, and I'm trying to keep my life simple ... The buyer who started all this wants to pay me with e-gold or bank wire, and I'm leery about doing any type of bank-account transaction with someone I don't know.
Guess I'll just lose this sale, rather than open another type of pseudo-money account that requires my attention and knowledge. Oh well!

Yes, people do it all the time. But if PayPal does catch you (usually when people put something obvious like "E-Gold Exchange" in the payment note) they WILL freeze your account along with the person you're trading with.achacko said:But transactions take place ....
