However one question.... why do I keep getting spammed about this forum on AIM? Then sometimes the spam will include a referring username they want me to put down.

IMO, this puts a bad name on the site.

Here's the scoop folks. First off, I hate t0ny. I am good friends with the Dr.Pepper Tony, the nice one. The other once is just a cheap prick. r0b lives in Texas and goes by the name of "rebtehgod", and also dislikes t0ny very much. bad t0ny sold the good Tony TechHangout.com. Then Rob and I purchesed it and developed it, so i'm not advertising for him in anyway. This domain belongs to Rob not the Tony in the whois (never updated the admin contact, should do that..). So I hop this cleared it up for ya

Ele knows DrPepper and Rob, and the bad t0ny. Pretty sure he will get this. If you want more info let me know.

So the bottom line is that t0ny does not own it anymore, he could never get a site up and going like TechHangout.com is going. :lol: :kickass:


EDIT* oh ya, what was the AIM screen name that was spamming you about TechHangout? My one and only screen name is use is "littletricK12" ( only members on my buddy list can contact me / see my online status, so if you want to chit chat then PM me and I can add your name for you ). t0ny is willing to do w/e he can to try to take me down..

I recently bought the domain from Tony and me and adam decided to start TechHangout.

rob for one whats wrong with you? right now in my eyes youre just as bad because what kind of language is this? Its not wrong to assume who owns it especially if the whois info does back it up. This proves that one person's bad rep can affect more then himself. I beleive that everyone had the right to be mad because t0ny did get banned from this forum multiple times with multiple names including techhangout. Right now the only thing i see uncalled for is your post.

Wow, I haven't been around NamePros for a little while and now I think I remember why! But I just wanted to say that I completely and totally agree with Elefekt's post. And while there has been debate about whether a forum like this should have any sort of professionalism behind it, *some* people need lessons on how to act even a *little* more professional than a junior high school student, or worse, a toddler. That is to be expected when you're dealing with people.

Yes that is me.. I know it seems not professional by some people, but I was just going to help the dude get his domains sold. He had alot of good domains, and my friend who owns a big website, said he'd advertise them. I didnt think it would become a huge thing *AGAINST* me...

I'm sorry if i have angered anyone/came over immaturely.. it was late and phrone was messaging me to change DNS and clear things up. Right now (someone on these forums who would not like their name revealed) is Instant Messaging me on AIM, saying I should edit it.. however... I would not like to edit it. I screwed up and I guess I'm going to have to live with what I did.

Well I forgive you man. I know people make mistakes. I'd also like to offer my appologies because I myself created some false feelings toward you throughout reading this post. I appreciate you appologizing to everyone for what you had done. That - I think - IS a professional thing to do.

As for trying to sell the other person's domains, it looked REALLY fishy at first, but after you exmplained it - it jsut looked like you were trying to be the middle man on a deal - and that isn't toooo bad. Would hav been best to point the guy over to the domains owner.
