The amount of backlinks needed to end up on 1st page of google for this keyword was almost impossible - but it looks like this domain will talke over #1 in next few months if not by end of year. I estimate site will be an easy sell of $10,000 by end of year.

I am looking for easy sale here - but if not sold I will find time to make offering to some Tax Related firms - and I know I will sell to one for sure - but I like doing quick sales on forums better. And I feel no obligation making offering to tax industry 1st - as they may even pay more - then just redirect; and that would be a piss off after what we've done here.

Domain is not specific to "economic stimulus" and new tax rebate calculators for vaious rebate offering can be made.

However, there will be more economic stimulus payments, no matter who the next president is - as all have said they will do the same economic stimulus also when thet are in office.

starting a few days ago - and I image untill the end of june when the lest checks are mailed out - the traffic and revenue has really increased. I think people will still look for economiic stim. info even into the fall as many people are "behind" in life and procrastinate. But after that will wiill make a new calculator - if we still own the site and domain.

Now that the sale is over, and you are keeping the site, I wanted to point out an error in the calculator. Regardless of what I put in as income, I can put in 100 billion dollars, and it says I still get the full refund. According to the IRS:

Qualifying single filers (AGI less than $75,000) will get rebates of up to $600. Qualifying couples (AGI less than $150,000) will get rebates of up to $1,200, plus $300 per dependent child, with no maximum on the number of eligible children.

What if You Made More than the Maximum Income?
You will still get a check, but it will be reduced by 5-percent of the amount you earned above the AGI income caps of $75,000 for single filers and $150,000 for couples.

For example: A single filer with no children and an adjusted gross income of $80,000, or $5,000 over the AGI cap, will see their rebate check reduced by $250 (5% of $5,000), and will get a check for $350, instead of $600.

Yes, site is being kept for now - pretty much due to fact it generates more rev at this point that the last asking price justifies and would not be in best interests to sell. I just didn't want anyone to post sold @ BIN...

As for the discrepancy you pointed out, I am aware of that. The calculator was created based on the numbers that were released when the stimulus plan was first announced. Since then there have been back and forth revisions - also with regard to the rebate veterans recieve. I've actually contacted the IRS twice and asked them to review the calculator - before they created one on their site. Mine has been revised once - and can be anytime - but essentially it is an approximation - both the calculator and widget can be edited whenever needed and changes will show up globally on all sites that have the widget installed - so it can be modified every year for the new years tax rebate - and also for special rebate times like this current Economic Stimulus Rebate ; and even if you use the new one on the official IRS site - the actual return you may get may differ.

I'm entertaining some various offers from non-domainers; which I feel may be better as those in the Tax or accounting industry might be more successful with this site/domain.
