You may get some money but no one will spend a lot to market as their full site. maybe someone looking for a few fast Adsense clicks?

Low XXX IMO

In reply to barefoottech and gilescoley!!............How come taxiroma.com is for sale at for $4588 and romataxi.com is for sale at $2088(both at buydomains.com). .............3years ago I sold taxibrighton.com for 800euros so I would assume taxilondon.com is worth alot more.............furthermore taxilondon.com sounds and looks better and is much more brandable than londontaxi.com..........IMO the words are not in the "wrong order"!

1. Just because people are offering domains for a certain price, that doesn't mean they have that value. Anyway, according to the Google AdWords Keyword Tool, nearly 20 times as many people search for "taxi roma" as for "roma taxi". But "London taxi" gets about 3 times as many global searches as "taxi London". (Linguistic differences, I guess.) So apparently the world thinks your words aren't in the right order. (LondonTaxi is also registered in many more extensions than TaxiLondon.)

2. If you sold taxibrighton.com for 800 euros, congratulations! However, it took one motivated buyer to make that deal; that doesn't necessarily mean you will find a buyer for taxilondon.com.

Having said all that, I think you might get $xxx for this domain. I just don't know that any taxi service would want this exact domain enough to pay $x,xxx. Hope you prove me wrong.

I think the domain is okay, london taxi would be better.
But I'm not sure taxi drivers are buying domain names, if they even need one. A taxi company perhaps.

I did a quick bulk search at GoDaddy and saw about five more londontaxi regs than taxilondon regs. Didn't notice which extensions. You can look there. (From their homepage, choose "Find Your Domain", then "Bulk Search".)

$100 hardly...
If it was londontaxi.com I could add one more digit on the value.

Exactly
Newbies make the mistake of looking at "For Sale" prices (listed by optimistic Owners) , when the only real guideline is the prices of similiar domains that have been SOLD

Remember any item for sale is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, NOT what the seller wants for it.

Hi Danielson

Why Why Why??? that is the question? I have no idea why, but they certainly are wasting $10 a year per domain keeping them

It doesnt really matter what their thoughts are when registering these names are, the bottom line is there are no sales with names like these, so personally I dont care why they registered them, and as a seller yourself, I wouldn't worry about it. Check the registration dates and most are after 2009 and some just last year so doesnt that make you think why were they recently registered, if there was any value in them, they would have been snapped up years ago.

Most of the modification dates havent changed either so you can be sure they havent sold

Just go and check the sites, most are just crappy old parked sites with "for sale" links, if they had any value, some would at least be developed

Hope that helps
