Tantite - is a rare tantalum oxide mineral. Tantalum today is an important component in the manufacturing of semiconductors.

are you willing to hold a few years? Tantite is neither Tantalum or Tantalite. It's seems to be so rare as to never be mined. I see no one wanting to buy just for the name.

Mineral and Mining Domains :: only mining corporations and investors are the logical buyers. It's a big sector but due to going green and such they tend to be happy in the background. Maybe if [mineral] + "price checking keyword" or EMDs for the mineral's searches. But a quick namebio says "Mineral" is a nogo.

Sure, Tantite is a mineral of its own but the name reflects its Tantalum content or association. High-grade ore is rare. Tantite is even rarer.

In regards to the domain, do you think it could be marketed as a brandable?

I've listed it as MakeOffer on SEDO & DAN any suggestions on other marketplaces

Tantalum dot com sold in 2012 for $4700 ref. NAMEBIO

What are your thoughts on value?

it's been drop'd 4 times in the past 13 years. and dead most of that. It is a one word .com so someone might like it but I would take the first offer.
