Hello,
I am back with a live site now...I completely changed the look from last time and really like the outcome. I had the NP member, Albino code it and I designed it, you could say in photoshop. Well now its live and basically the main site is like a portal to the forum. The forum has the contact forum, Gallery/Garage, and the content. The main page is like "statement of intent".
I also have heavily customized the forum template and tried to match the color schemes of the portal and forum.
Basically I would like to know how you guys think about the color scheme between the main site and forum. Also would you want to join after reading the "about us" section.
I'd appreciate any tips or critiques on how the site could be improved. Right now I'm mainly working on adding the content to the site.

...wasnt sure if I should revive the old thread or start a new one...so I started a new one.
Thanks for reading all this babble!

I'm still missing a few essential elements that should draw throughout all the pages. Your header is inconsistent, the mustang (horse) is nowhere applied, while it would make the perfect watermark for your backdrop as it's one of the most recognizable symbols in the car industry. Also, you're using different fonts on the main header compared to the Gallery and the forum header. Bring the same appearance across your sites.
The mustang would also work great as FavIcon.
I didn't log in, so i'm just addressing a thought: Your gallery is hopefully equipped with a rating and comment feature as well as an easy way to upload a picture.
Think about providing a blog type feature for your users where they can outline their work in progress. From "normal" mustang to a custom stang. This might be something that can also be built into the gallery?

Overall, not bad, but could still use a bit more "drive" and action. Look at sites like the Lamborghini Site and check out their images. You'll get a pretty good idea what i think "action" is. Then head out and see what royalty free Mustang(Car) + Horse Images you can find and start portraying the dynamic of the car. Do you really need to do all that to stand out? Nope, but it sure wouldn't hurt ;)

Don't worry 'bout the rep. :) If it lets you, cool - if not, that's fine as well. Make the best Mustang site there is, that's validation enough.
