domain TalkNintendo.com - Appraisal Please

I just recently acquired the domain TalkNintendo.com I just opened a forum 2 days ago on there. How much do you guys figure the domain(with forum I guess or without, as you wish to appraise) is worth?

I think that similar domain's history has showed that such corporations aren't concerned about, nor care if they're ran.

Rare exceptions do occur (Harley), etc., but fan sites and discussion sites are typically allowed even if they infringe on trademarks.

Generally, I agree daddypi ... but the perception that there could be a potential ™ issue here down the road - sans specific permission from the ™ holder - could very well affect valuations, IMHO. This would be a real shame if it was developed and fully active, as well! :cy:

See where I'm headed (insofar as the potential assigning of a valuation)?

there is a lot of domains that are talkxbox, or talkps2, or talkgamecube, etc. Game companies do want their consoles talked about and want people to share thoughts with each other about their games so they will buy more games(after they hear how great a game is from other ppl). While there could be a TM issue, the probability is so small it's not even accountable.

With such low probability, why not simply ask them for permission ... which would then permit you to build the site free of any future encumbraces, etc?
This would add a lot of value to a potential, future forum acquirer as well IMHO. :lala:

I think the differences are pretty clear, talk is a lot easier to spell than discuss, and also, the domain is talknintendo, it's not console specific and can cover all of the company's console as well as the company overall, much broader market. Discussxbox is only pertinent to the Xbox, which is one console(although i suppose it could be used for xbox 360 as well).
