hi all , i just purchased sydneyforum (.) com

its been archived since 2000 and was a forum at one time it gets about 30 hits a day !!

australiaforum (.) com sold for $2,500 about 160 members !

houstonforums (.) com sold for $2,500

any thoughts and value on the domain .

I'm leaning more towards the low $x.xxx myself. Certainly needs development, but that's actually the easy part. At the most it's $160 (vB) and the price for a decent logo/banner.
w/o development i wouldn't even attempt to selling it.

Hi aussie, I think its a great name although rather lengthy. I think this is one of those names that would sell better as a turnkey model.
Name only as a reseller I wouldn't pay more than $250.
I see a lot more potential for the end user value especially if developed.
Undeveloped I'd try and get 1-2k end user.
Developed with vBulletin or something similar with a membership base of substancial proportions I could see this going for 5-10k plus

there seems to be a lot off forums out there struggling to get members , i think with sydney forum dot com i would lean to having adult subject lines in the forum (not porn) .

but atm i will just sit on it till i get the right formula ?
