SushiSakeBaltimore.com is the former location of a very popular sushi bar in Baltimore, MD. I was lucky enough to purchase this domain on GoDaddy Auctions recently. The site was purchased mainly for its PR 1 and local ranking in Baltimore, MD for "sushi sake" which, even locally receives a large amount of searches.
To my great surprise the domain also has some excellent backlinks which continue to drive traffic and authority to the site.

So I went to work doing some more due diligence and built some high quality backlinks to the domain to see what would happen. Low and Behold the rankings started to jump. I checked SEMRush and it looks like the rankings were simply returning to where they were before the domain was dropped. And here I thought it was my SEO skills!
Long story short I felt I was cheating the domain to hang on to it any longer. My plan was to slap some ads on the site and just let it sit, hoping to make a few dollars a week in Adsense. But this site would be an absolute GOLDMINE to anyone with a restuarant themed site or even an actual restaurant. And better yet if you owned a sushi restaurant anywhere near Baltimore, you could make the money back that you spent to purchase the site in no time! Its a win-win. So the reserve is low, and the Buy it Now price is less than the cost of 1 month of traffic according to SEMRush.
