Survey on Strokes

Hi everyone

I'm compiling a survey on strokes and their impact on those around them. The aim of the survey is to establish how we, as a society, can better equip ourselves in our social dealings with those who have had strokes. Taking this survey will help me compile enough results, along with other studying I am doing in the subject, to be able to present the data and writeup as a piece of research rather than just some university work.

Hopefully, even if it helps out a few people deal with the chaos that a stroke can bring, it'll be worth it

Please note, you do not need to have had exposure to stroke victims to fill out the survey. If you have not, please only fill in the first survey. If you HAVE had exposure, please fill in both surveys!

I believe my nan has had 2 strokes, she's a strong old lady and we don't treat her any different, she's partially deaf so you have to speak up but she understands fine and can keep up in conversations.
She's also had bladder cancer, which nearly came back and also leaky heart vaulves

Interesting topic and will try and do the survey if I can.
My uncle has suffered two major strokes due to having a blood disorder called polycythemia vera, recently I have had tests for the same blood disorder and have many of the same symptoms he first had.

Thanks for taking the survey though, it's very much appreciated. I'm hoping to submit my results in at the end of December so fingers crossed it'll be taken up as a piece of research! So many people are affecting by strokes, it's suprising how little knowledge there is out there among the general public!
If you know anyone else that may be interested in taking out, do let them know!

I had a neighbor die from a stroke several months ago and another neighbor that had multiple strokes while he was living here.. a stroke can change your life and the lives of the people around you in an instant.
