down again today, going on 10 hours. stay away from this host. I host a few sites on this VPS and its driving me crazy.

i also had a bad experience with surfspeedy, cheap but not reliable. all good 1-2 months, then after that the hosting failed every now and then.

That explains why one of my sites moved from the #2 position on Yahoo (highly competitive keyword) to out of the top 100. I know it will be back shortly but it likely cost me about $50 today alone. Not the first time, I guess I will be moving now.

I am sorry to hear of your negative experiences. Hang in there and find a new host - it's time to move when you experience heavy downtime like that multiple times as I glean from the thread starter's post.
