Surfing cat? Interesting.

Sporting animals are nothing new - horseracing, polo and other equestrian classics notwithstanding, recent years have seen YouTube's famous skateboarding dog and a sports-mad pigeon trying a little too hard to get involved in baseball.

A surfing cat, however, is something different.

I think the cat's enjoying the wind in their face, the waves below their paws, and the warm sun.

It never ceases to disgust me the horrible things people do to animals to amuse their small minds.

After all, even given the most charitable interpretation of this photo, most observers would be hard-pressed to say that she looks like she's enjoying herself.

Poor kitty.

Though this is pretty darn mild compared to what goes on in the world of animal cruelty. When you think of it that way, this cat is very lucky to have just been put on a surf board.

i was able to watch this via local news at gmanetwork and yeah the cat really loves it for she's being trained to surf, the surfer/trainor at the back (not included in the photo) have previously trained dogs to surf. this is an added challenge for him since cat as we all know it, are afraid/hate water.
