Remember Surface? Remember the run on surface domain names? Well surface technology is starting to arrive. Microsoft has teamed up with AT&T Retail Stores to debut its first Surface tables! They are located in five AT&T stores across the nation, including two in New York. :blink:

I was at the Cebit this year and the Microsoft guys said they will only have a working Surface showed at the exhibition in 3 (!!!) years time. Until then only CEO's can see them...

Cool as hell .. but why AT&T ..

AT&T has the iPhone .. maybe microsoft felt they needed in on it too? Seems odd to me that they wouldn't pick Verizion, Sprint, or any of the other big names.

When I bought my 'surface domains' I mainly stayed with com/net and info was .99 cents so bought a couple of them. I have no exp with .com.au but I would believe the money is in the .com IMO.

I think Microsoft are going to have to work on the miniaturization if it is ever going to compete with the iPhone.
