KuwaitCity is a real gem. It will fetch nice bucks in the long run provided .me maintains its popularity at the existing pace at least for the next couple of years.

Dlatua, what makes you think that .me is a random tld? How many domainers like Rick Schwartz have vested interests in random tlds. Having seen the popularity of .me, many people have eventually changed their opinion about .me. So please do not try to beat the same drum as many of you did before the launch of .me. :blink:

I think most of these hold $xxx value in the short run, but I think that all of the plural domains are worth practically nothing in the long run. They are certainly sexy keywords from a standard tld standpoint, but the way the .me extension is being branded in the domain world, the plural doesn't make sense with the singular "me".

So think of the .me as the second keyword to find nice an potentially valuable keywords. I think slam.me fits the extension best and reel.me isn't bad either.

When you think about these new tlds, the best thing to do is sell them high now, IMO. I don't think they will ever be as popular in the long run as they are right after landrush. In two years, only the truly premium names will even hold resale value in my opinion. My advice is to get rid of them while they still carry a premium.

There's not anything in the list that's knocking my socks off.

My understanding is that .ME is a ccTLD for some random Country. If it were me, I'd dump these and try to get out of "me town" at break-even (or better), then focus on trading 'quality' domains.

I'd say high $xx to very low $xxx for the best of this group now.

When you think about these new tlds, the best thing to do is sell them high now, IMO.

Quite possibly the best free advice you'll ever get in this lifetime.

Micros profile is only good for .COM, .NET, .ORG, .TV appraisals. .ME is the future of domains. As soon as a company markets on TV for a .ME its over. Give it a few years and they will be worth a good some... People for some reason cant seem to look out side of the box. Give it time.

KuwaitCity.me (.me -> montenegro) and Kuwait is in asia lol no connection name with extension!

because .me it is a random ccTLD like all the others! the small advantage is the meaning "me" in english also reg fee is low!

If people worldwide are bullish on any particular extension, i.e. dot me (in this case) and are focused on developing sites on it, then it means that it has got some value in it. That's why they're valuable. For something to have value it needs to have limited supply or availability.

One problem with ccTLD is no price regulation. Look at .SC, they raised prices from $35 to $75 with only 7 days notice. Buyers should be aware that there are huge differences between a gTLD and a ccTLD. In addition, Google hammers most Country codes in the search results for obvious reasons.

Often times buyers are fooled into buying these novelty domains without this knowledge. In the land of Country codes there needs to be an emphasis on the buyer beware rules of purchase. IMO.

I'm not entirely smitten either, but there is one name among the list that sticks out like the proverbial sore thumb. It is, manicure.me.

.me is an excellent ext'n for domain 'hacks' like this, where the emphasis is on doing something to or with 'me'.

Good luck with the name - easily worth mid $xxxx and up, if the recent sales of other (premium) .me names are anything to go by.
