The result, they say:
$ 29,000 ~ 44,000 D-: D-: D-:

What do you think.

It think that this domain will be really great for urban, music, hip-hop, etc related websites.

The fact that it is a ws...to me is detrimental and the fact that your site name has likely very few searches and likely zero type in traffic, I say less than reg fee undeveloped.

How much would you say. i was thinking about the low x.xxx$.

Do you have any opinion?

Low $$$$ ? NO way, even top keywords are hard to sell under .ws. It's a weak TLD.
Looking at reported sales at http://dnsaleprice.com/ there are not a lot of known .ws sales in excess of $2000.

Since you are new here: forget the automated appraisals, stay way from exotic extensions and most of all read the forum... you will learn a lot.

Thank you buddy,

I was wondering that a .ws could be a problem. By low x.xxx$ i was thinking about 1000$ or maybe mid xxx$

Low $x,xxx ? you cant be serious? no idea why you wasted good money on such a silly domain, sorry to be so blunt but youll be lucky to get $1

ive not known of many high priced .ws domains at all - .ws isn't that great a domain tbh , but have a look round the forums and see what sort of domains are hot, domaining isnt that hard you just got to put a little effort in, you can't just reg a name out of the blue and expect it to be worth that sort of money, especially with exotic extensions like that.

good luck anyway

nope. i know how you feel, but nope.

you couldnt get back your reg fee for it on the forums and probably not even your reg fee back.

Think of it this way, domainers look at .ws as "the plague" - it is not good at all at present. Now lets say you had casino.ws, thats an amazing keyword in an awful extension, and worth decent money, maybe not worth xxxx, not the point.

now your domain name, homie, is far from stellar either. 20-40k google is low, a new word may garner that. 2281 searches a month on invetory.overture.com is better than ok with a .com, but will not help your casue with .ws. also we havent even got to why someone will seek homie dot anything, and probably don't have to.

friend to friend, its not worth anything. if you need further help, feel free to pm me.

Paul

Yes .ws is a problem indeed. It's marketed as 'website' but it's just the ccTLD of Western Samoa, a microstate in the Pacific Ocean...
Other countries are selling their TLD, .cc being another example. These are vanity TLDs. If you want to develop why not but don't expect an easy sale.
There is little consumer awareness for exotic extensions.
I think your expectations are too high. In order to have any hope for a sale you need to invest in more liquid extensions.
I recommend that you read the forum a lot and don't forget to check dnjournal.com often for reported sales so you get a better insight into the market.

hum i interstand,

Thank you very much Paul and Sdsinc. I was knowing that a .ws will only give me trouble. We call this inexperience.

You know what i have listed it on SEDO for 12$, do you think that someone will take it?

I understand that i am new at domaining and all your comments goods, bad or realy bads are welcome because they are giving me some experience.

Thank you very much everybody.

i doubt you will see that sale. perhaps if you just registered it you can return it. most registrars give a 5 day window but after 24/36 hours they tend to be "unavailable" and stick you with it. some also disclaim certain extensions are nonrefundable, .ws possibly one for that registrar. good luck.

Actually sorry about my first post, I thought the domain was supmyhomie.ws - so please excuse my previous coments, however it wouldnt make any difference to the value. .ws is not an extension youd want to register - .sc is also pretty hard to sell but it is doable.

Apologies agian for the misunterstanding, and good luck once again

I see the name is parked at Sedo but it's not in your account it seems.
I think the minimum sale amount at Sedo is $60 though.

Theeres also the sedo fee youve got to consider, would hardly be worth your while unless you asked a bit more.

checkbook.ws sold for $7, I guess. So you can imagine what Homie.ws will bring

Btw, stay away from the swiftappraisal.com and leapfish.com. If you want an automatic appraisal, check out estibot.com. its the best of the lot
