STOP all the GMail chatter..

your redundant..
and going against the real grain of the google gMail svc..

They don't charge you for registration..
so you should not be selling this svc.. in my opinion..

this GMAIL chatter.. is becoming annoying..

Just give them away folks..

they are free to you..

so just give them away..

use PM.. it's private..
and works great..

Thatz nice words WandaCox.

But selling them is not a sin. Everyone like s to make profit of what little they have.

I dont see anything wrong in it :)

Wanda, we made a Forum (Perhaps temporary) for GMail so I think its fine if we use it alot.

Also, the reason I have been up til now charging for most of my invites (Aside from theones I have given away), is I paid a fair bit on ebay for the account and up till last night, I was earning back for that.

If they truly were free to me in the first case, I would have given them away for free sooner then now.

But you are right, there is quite alot of GMail Chatter that can be diverted elsewhere like:
GMailSwap.com
GMailMarketplace.com
GMailInvitation.com
GMailTrader.com

Me either suthra, BUT... I do wish they'd disappear from the active topic list... That is, the "newest post" and "active today" links that group all of the boards together...

That said, I have some for sale! :P

I'm no way selling gmails. But I don't see "selling" gmail invites a "sin" IMO. Have you been reading the bible? Please define sin for us if it's ok %%-

my quote "by no means".. means it is not a sin netPH.. it's a slang type phrase.. it means it's not harmful or wrong. You misread my post..

Actually I believe the admin have the ability to remove certain sub-sections from the what's new search?

At least some forums have this ability, so in theory it would stop taking up screen space if possible...

:bah:
I bought my Gmail Invites and still don't see what the big issue is, even if you have to pay for it. As long as the money spent purchasing Gmail Invites is circulating and helping our fellow members, I don't see any harm in these sales. On the other hand, if I do get any invites, I'll be sure to give them away for free. If someone wants to profit from them, let them. Gmail's are worth the money.
:D

Thanks for the link Mike.

I have one gmail acct. which was "given" to me through member: painperdu..

I have a question though..

I sent an email to gmail "customer svc" regarding..
having my gmail acct. forwarded into my cable net / outlook express box..

gmail replied.. that they could not answer this question..

and sent me a link to their "help guide" online..

my question is..

can I have my gmail email's forwarded into another email acct?

If anyone knows.. please advise me.

Thankyou

As far as I know this is not possible. You can only spefify a 'reply-to' address in outgoing mail.

I think more features are planned, such as using Outlook to download messages etc... I dont know if what you are after is one of the planned upgrades, but you never know. :)

a google insider told me that the full version gmail release would be mid October,2004... and also, fewer invites would be distributed in radom. about 40-50K invitations/day. I'm believe google is adding up more spice to gmail
