Do companies buy their "stockacronym.com" ?

Does it make a LLLL more valuable if it is a stock acronym ?
Found out that I own one that is the acronym of a large hotels group and that their stocks are worth ~6$/piece (and increasing) and thought I'd try to contact the company.

Some companies own their TICKERSYMBOL.com, most don't. If you have a popular ticker symbol of a company with a high Market Cap it adds to the value, just because the term will be searched more often and you will get some type-in traffic.

I am not sure I would contact the company directly, because I am not sure if there are any TM issues to do with a ticker symbol. Someone else might be able to answer that.
