The way the UK system works, anything with any potential is followed weeks or even months before it drops, and then caught by folks who design and use various computer programs within miliseconds of the drop (literally). Anything that makes it any longer than that has probably been judged by our friends in the UK as to not have a market there. Even pool and snap can't compete...

That said, it does pull 40K google results when searched with UK, so its probably worth the reg.

The way it works, you can send something like 200,000 requests to the registry for a name each day - that's not a typo. So people build programs that do just that. Any good name can have 10-15 of those people trying for it, so the name is getting seveeral million requests on the day it drops. Its hard for anything to get through. My best luck with .co.uk because its such a young ext has been finding new ideas and never regged.

Its worth holding.

p.s. I was just told its 432,000 queries per day that are allowed - and there are only 86,000 seconds in a day!
