I think the reason no apps yet is because many are not aware of the term, but this was a smart registration in my opinion. Take a look at how many American companies and sites are using a longer .com version of the name, and it definitely hints that somebody would be interested in having the straight/shorter version in the .US extension.
Thanks for the support -db-! I guess that I forget and take it for granted that people know about steeplechase racing since I live in what is called the Steeplechase captial of the world and live right across the street from where it all goes on.
If anyone does have any ideas, I would appreciate it. Steeplechase isn't as popular as the derbies are but it still draws about 70,000 fans during the annual Carolina Cup held in the springtime each year. Many champions at this event have gone on to race in the bigger leagues and win at Churchill Downs. (Lonesome Glory comes to mind as one of the more recent winners. Some others include Al Skywalker is another famous one.)
