SSL question

I intend to get an ssl ceruficate, to protect some site and separate pages. I am pointed to the two (or even more) possible solutions.

One is webhostgiant.com - pretty simple and cheap ssl it is possible to get from them, the more so because the hosting is also intended to be taken from this company.

The second is glowhost.com - they offer several kinds and TMs of the ssl and other security things, which are different by price and by creator...

From where it would be better, and if it is glowhost which one of the proposed is the best for non-eCommerce solution?

I think glowhost.com would be better here. They offer wide selection of deals. Also, As I see the compay trusts their own deals to the Comodo, so I believe this would be really good solution. Because company which does such business will not trust the unstable security system..

SSL Certificate do NOT protect your site.
You don't need it to protect your site.
It just certify that your site is secure, nothing more.

Correct. Are you running a bussniess where you collect personal information? if not you dont need it.

If you need protection - glowhost.com offers many kinds of it. They are using one of the product they offer (~comodo security corner) themselves what means it is reliable solution.
