I am about to start a website which involves selling products over the web. To gain the customer's trust, I need to have SSL on the website. My question is how do I get SSL? Do I have to get it from the domain registrar, the domain host, or a third party?

If third parties are allowed, then who provides SSL certificates for the cheapest price?

Check with your host - some hosts offer SSL certificates and will help instruct you on how to set them up (and in many cases, will even do it for you). That would be my first recommendation. If they do not have SSL, then I'd recommend (considering price) for you to look at either Registerfly, Namecheap, Godaddy, or some other site that offers SSL. Those will probably be your cheapest versions.

Do a search on Google, there are some other providers out there that focus solely on SSL certificates, but they'll be more expensive.
