couldn't figure out the catch until I moved the IE window to one side and noticed that the "address" lagged behind the IE address bar when I moved the IE window.

There are a lot of tricky ones like that...some of them will put like 'http://secure.paypal.com/something/somethingelse.(some IP address)'.
The average person doesnt know that the entire 'secure.paypal..blahblah' thing is just a subdomain from that IP or domain

I bet some new ebayers fall for it too, I probaly would of too as i was new too my own internet and ebay.
