SPAM mail about domain auction

I regged a 5 characters.info at GoDaddy for $0.99 since the .com is not available. The .com is expiring and I would like to grab it. But I got a spam sent to my registrant email that they can offer auction to this .com domain.

I just wonder should I preorder it somewhere? It was on ENOM. Will they get the domain just because I regged the .info with same name? But anyway I am not willing to spend more to register it. Should I try manual grabbing?

The domain has expired, but it's taken by crucialdomains now! I found some reference here:

I will just wait 1 more week to see... By the way, don't get an .info account if you don't have the .com
