Dang, I missed this plus the mail from bido about this.

Bido is funny though, absolutely no response to submissions.

And its ironic that Jarred used my idea for an experts directory and I'm not included in said directory, Them's the breaks I guess. :D . Not that I'm very active as an expert there, some of the domains on auction do nothing for me.

Samit, regarding the expert directory, what you see on the Bido site will be changed very soon. We've been testing a complete redesign to the way we carousel the experts. We greatly appreciate your feedback as well as anyone else that has suggested some features / enhancements for us, they certainly don't fall on deaf ears. To be an expert on Bido gives you a lot of benefit, one of them is the capability to be listed in the expert directory. To be there you must first and foremost be an active expert, and we have procedures in place to detect that. Secondly, you need to have at least one of your off-site social networking fields filled, such as a link to your facebook or linkedin profile, and there are other social networks we offer that you can fill out, like twitter, myspace, and bebo. Next, you must have your Biography filled out, as well as a picture that's been uploaded into the system. Lastly, your company URL must be filled out. This is a general guide and not aimed specifically at you Samit, as you may or may not have all of that completed. We're also adding info to the page to automatically show those Experts that are not listed exactly why they aren't. But the big change will be the way we display the experts, it's a wonderful interface that will be released very soon and I'm sure you'll like it. We encourage our experts to be active and if there's a reason you aren't, or if you have some suggestion for us that would help us build a platform that's more enticing for participation, please, please let us know. Ah cool Jarred, thanks a ton for the detailed explanation.

I guess what I'm basically lacking is "To be there you must first and foremost be an active expert, and we have procedures in place to detect that." - all the other stuff is upto spec including bio, photo etc. I've added my business url and other relevant info too.

I have one more suggestion, you could have a system for informing about rejections for domain submissions too. A basic form letter of the type, "your domain was rejected due to a. high price b. unsuitable for platform c. whatever" just so that the name is available for any other offers it might have.

Thanks for the suggestion Samit. We'll have that feature sometime in the near future, its been asked for and we agree its needed. We do mention that you'll be personally contacted if your domains are approved and we've clarified the site but having some automatic email go out would be helpful so everyone is kept in the immediate loop.
