SP2 for XP - Major Issues

I installed the SP2 when it was RC2... The firewall never asked me to unblock WS_FTP... then one day after using it for like 2 weeks it finally asked... LOL

SP2 hasn't given me an error and I installed it about a week ago.

I installed it before I knew there were problems for other people, not had any problems, but planning to re-format soon anyway - need to do it every so often to clean the *!%^ off that seems to build up!

^ yeah, after a while windows sems to gather up a pile of c*ap, but there's other ways of getting rid of that - other than formatting I mean.

Have you tried to use a registry cleaning software?
Use that together with a good anti-adware tool (AdAware is good) and a firewall (ZoneAlarm or Black Ice, not the useless one windows offers)
