Sony BMG / CD protection blow

When I read this article, I had a good laugh..it's really amazing how these multi billion dollar protections can be avoided

that's just like with those copy-protected floppy disks from ages and ages ago

Amazon sent out an email a few days ago stating that anyone who has a cd can send them back no questions asked regardless of wether it had been used or not. They also gave information on how to get the cd without the protection.

I read on the article and at the update said it could cause damage to the CD or the drive.
