Any comments on value? I am thinking of approaching various companies in the business of manufacturing and selling Sonar Units, such as Lowrance Electronics etc.

What should I ask as a reasonable price for this domain?

SonarUnits.com potential sales value is hinged upon the need/neccesity for the industry to have a web presence. Now a days, you cant be in business without a site of some kind, but the issue here is why does a company who sells Sonar Units need a par/generic name and their branded company name?

At first I didnt think so, however reviewing how many companies and sites do sell Sonar Units, I believe you may actually find an end-user with this method. There is competition on the internet for this business and this is a viable keyword name. I dont believe its so generic its going to represent huge bucks, but I do believe you should be able to find $500-1000 for the end user, perhaps more if you can sell and market it properly.

That is exactly what my line of thinking was, as well. Even though I have SonarUnits.com listed on Sedo for x,xxx

I realistically would accept something in the neighborhood of your appraisal range. I was (hoping) to get $1500 to be honest with you so that's kind of where I valued it.

Honestly, I thought it would get more nibbles, but so far that isnt the case..I guess I could always put a 5-page mini-site up and use affiliate links. That might be the best way to monetize this domain because although "Sonar Units" gets decent monthly traffic not really anyone is typing in the domain with extension (well it gets about 2 clicks a month )

Thanks again..wish more people had comments on this one it's been quite a dilemma for me.
