Ok,

I've completed building a website using Bluevoda (a free website creator) as I have no knowledge of html or php... etc. The website is: http://muaythai.me

I'm having problems creating sitemaps using online sitemaps generators, as they don't seem to crawl my index page...

I used rss2html to put an rss news feed on my index page... so what I did was that I renamed the rss2html.php file to 'index', and this now directs to my homepage titled 'sample-template'
Could this be what is preventing sitemap generators from generating sitemaps for this site? And, if so, will this also present a problem in terms of SEO.

I've read that having pages freshly updated was good for SEO, which is why I put an rss feed on the homepage (and on the FAQ page also), but which pages will the search engine bots crawl? And will they 'read' the content of the rss feed?

The method I used was a bit convoluted, but it's the only one that worked for me given I wanted the feed on the homepage...
I could have put it in an iframe, but again, I read this was a problem asthe search engine bots were not able to see the contents of iframes...

I'm new to all this, so I don't really know what I'm doing at the moment ; just trying to learn as I go...
