Google has launched an experiment to speed Web site information and changes to its index.

Web site administrators whether they manage a single-page site or corporate
Web site can use the free program called Sitemaps. "This collaborative
crawling system will allow our crawlers to optimize the usefulness of
Google's index for users by improving its coverage and freshness,"

Any thoughts, I just created a dynamic script to build an XML list for one
of my projects.

Seems a cool addition, but if it actually makes any difference to SEO I
don't know other than maybe directing google to pages that might be a too
little deep to index.

I've read in another forum that google sitemaps are indeed making the googlebot crawl your site more often. But I'll wait for some more first hand experiences...
