Here is the list:

ScholarshipApplication.net
AdmissionEssay.net
LaptopHardDrive.org
AcerLaptop.org
RepairLaptops.org
RepairLaptop.org
IbmLaptop.net
LaptopBag.us
PcLaptop.org
ToshibaLaptop.us
ToshibaLaptop.biz
AppleLaptop.biz
AppleLaptop.us
AppleLaptop.org
BargainLaptop.org
RefurbishedDellLaptop.com

All of them have been certificated by PremiumDomian.com, score ranges from lower 400 to higher 500 (out of 1000), only score above 300 will be considered as "Premium Domain". You can check them out at premiumdomain.com

What do you think? worth that score? I think mainly because these domains contain the keywords that has been searched many times per month in major search engines.

AdmissionEssay.net and RefurbishedDellLaptop.com the only OK ones IMHO

Your TM laptop ones only value is in potential traffic that you could earn PPC on, (even though there is a signifcant TM possiblity), but .ORG and .US's hardly get type-in traffic, so I'd value them at $0.

Thank you very much peaches017!

What do you think AdmissionEssay.net and RefurbishedDellLaptop.com's dollar value?

"AcerLaptop.org
IbmLaptop.net
ToshibaLaptop.us
AppleLaptop.us
RefurbishedDellLaptop.com"

"All of them have been certificated by PremiumDomian.com"

Funny stuff, these are an awful long way from being "premium". The dell one in particular I'd be dumping ASAP, these guys have taken domain owners to the cleaners over trademark infringements in the past.

Just for info.

We updated this week-end our domain scoring process.
It was the first update since the service was launched.
I will explain the big changes that should be improvements.

The minimum scoring for premium name certification is now 400.
From 400 to 650 it's what I will call the low premium names range.

Also domain score scale (1 - 1,000) is logarythmic!!!
==>
There is a VERY HUGE difference between a domain scored 750 and another scored 800. The difference is really HIGHER than a domain scored 400 with another 500.

No matter how you score things calling t/m infringements with no traffic "premium" is somewhat of a joke, to even say the are worth something would likely be inaccurate.

Just out of curiosity, why would a domainer need to certify a domain as premium? A real premium domain pretty much speaks for itself. And it doesn't look like you are vetting the domains you certifiy for hidden problems like trademark issues.

Thanks for all replies!

I think I will get rid of those "trademark infringements" domains. I want to get a rough idea about the dollar value of other domains.

Also waiting for the improvement of PremiumDomain.com, thanks

Snoop,

The primary use of domains is build a site or create a gateway.
And premium in the low range are good for that purpose.
Domainers are a VERY small community compared with domain owners and webmasters that are looking for domain for something else then parked revenue.
If you are a domainer and want type-in traffic and only consider as premium such names then simply look at the dot com premium names with high scoring.

...

Tom,

As a domainer you probably have a good idea about which names are premium domains, and which no. At least for premium in the high range.
For those ones in the middle/low range it's often more difficult and it takes research time and more when it's not a niche you know...

It helps domain buyers with no knowledge that need to have another opinion then the seller one that generally allways say is selling a premium.
A type of trust third party that can give a not biased advice.

It also offer to the owner of such domains the satifaction to have them certified as Premium.
It's in the human nature, everyone love to win awards!
Remember this ad we broadcasted: Good for the ego.

Here is my disclaimer: I am not an expert, but I can tell you about my experiences over the last 2 years.

When I bought my first domains prior to joining this forum, I had purchased appraisals. They are not accurate, but they are not necessarily a scam. In the right hands, a domain can be worth a fortune. I have had many names appraised at $9000, I let several of them expire and sold one for $18. You should not focus on appraisals. I have had names appraised at $78000 that I could barely sell for $50. When you see those names at DNJournal, alot of those sales are fierce auctions for expired names. Truthfully, I have seen someone buy a name from an available list, and flip it for alot of money in one day, but he had a buyer in mind and marketed the name correctly at the right time. You should focus your time on publicizing and selling your domains to the correct buyer at the correct time. That is how you make your appraisal accurate. No appraisal is true until you make it true. You must strike while your names and TLDs are hot. Ask yourself, do you ever see any of your names being "Hot" or extremely popular in the near future? My advice, if you want instant value, you have to buy a name on the aftermarket. Otherwise, if you are determined to register a name from scratch, stick to single dictionary words in the .net .info .tv .us .cc extensions. Keep in mind if they are some obscure word that no one cares about you wont get a buyer. If the names are two words in length stick to .com and .net. Also, save yourself some time, dont bother with trademarked names, no one will buy them. trademark .Com Domains do benefit in the form of traffic, other extensions do not. If I were you, I would choose either to resell domains, or try to make money from parking. You cant do both if you are just starting out. I hope some of this helps more than the usual "regfee" comment.

So outside the domain industry people are looking for trademark infringements are the they? That is news to me. The fact is those highlighted names are worthless yet were appraised as premium.
