Some help with my first attempt

Hi, all, I just took a look at some of the reviewed websites and wow, this forum is full of pros. Could you please critique my first site? The URL is www.zhonglei.tk My friend told me that it's too simple but I really can't think of anything to liven it up.

The left frame requires using the scroll bars for left and right viewing. most folks dont like to scroll left or right.. you might want to fix that.

well netbutch... you need to be more clear when you say you have to scroll right and left... i dont have to because my resolution is 1024x768 and i am guessing that you have 800x600... am i right.
But you do have a point, so i would suggest lz232 should change the site to meet the needs of the 800x600 resolution users, and the higher resolution people will view it fine too

yes, just make the website usable by 800x600 users. I don't mind overlines, in fact I really like them, so I they look fine as they are (unless you want to take them off, that's fine too).

also, those scrollbar colors are really confusing. Usually the darker color is for the bar, not the track. I got really confused at first and still do sometimes. It would look really cool if you made the track color white, or just made the bar darker than that puke color.

but otherwise, it's great!

Thanks so much for the advice. I've changed the style of the scroll bar. Can I ask how I can change the size of the background image in CSS? I use the following style for the body tag,
{background-image:blahblah; no-repeat;}. Ideally I would like the image to stretch to 100% of the screen height so that it can accomodate users of the 600x800 monitor, but it seems that there isn't a CSS property catering the background image.
