Nish, at some point you are right..... but i not want (and can not) change running auctions.
the 72 hours is just to get eyeballs, my experience is that mostly people not bid in the last 5 minutes, as it not benefits anyone. On an other forum a had a domain running on 48 hours and it did not get enough eyeballs.... (lucky for the person who got the domain...) now its a bit lucky for me...

Yeah i see what you mean, all the bidders are domainers, so if there's a fixed deadline, I am sure we all be there on time to bid :p, hence why in all the auction marketplaces most of the bidding happens in the last minutes, though I suppose you will get more exposure with 72 hours, just annoying having to wait weeks for an auction to finish, though do what you think is best for maximum profit.
