Sold my first domain name!

I sold my first name today...Bibleguru.com.

Sold on Sedo for $125.00. The transaction went without a hitch and the money desposited in my PayPal acoount a couple hours after I transferred the domain.

Doesn't it feel great? You have made money on the internet! Selling domain names is even better than selling on Ebay.com !! You never held, touched, or saw the item you sold. You didn't have to pack, insure, or ship anything by UPS, or the US mail. If you have www.PayPal.com, or something similar, you don't wait to wait for payment, or "the check is in the mail".
The best part of it all, is explaining to your friends how you made money selling "domain names". They stare at you, and think you are lying!!! Ha!!

Exactly! I used to be an eBay Powerseller, but once I got into domaining I thought "Screw eBay, domaining is so much easier!" :hehe:

The hard part is explaining to them what the heck a "domain name" is! By the time you're done with that, they'll be so confused that they'll believe anything! Hmm, I guess that says something about the technological knowledge that my friends have... :yell:

It is a great feeling to get the first sale under ones belt. I'm just hoping for a bunch more sales in the future.

PayPal does make the transaction go quick. I also sell on eBay but I like domaining a lot more.
I do hope to sell a few of the names I have in my signature. Most I will sell but a few I'm planning on keeping.
I'm not looking to buy a bunch of names with my proceeds since I still have over 100 that I would love to sell.
