So now what?

Hey guys, I recently registered a couple of domains (crappy ones, that I now regret after finding this site!). But now what do I do? I have them both parked and listed on sedo. Do I just wait for someone to make me an offer? How do I increase the traffic? Any help is greatly appreciated as I havnt got a clue! Thanks in advance!

You will be waiting a long time I fear.

I would recommend either spending some time doing the following:

Learning simple web-page development

Reading this forum, dnjournal.com to see what names actually sell

thinking about what you have that the hundreds of thousands of 'investors' in this field have not got, which is what you need to exploit.

I would also pretty much give up on the idea of registering a name for profit, at least until you have a lot more experience. Others have more tools and resources than you can shake a stick at, and trying to compete with that when you don't even know the ropes is foolhardy. Get a few bucks together and consider investing in a name when you are ready.


The worst thing you can do is keep throwing money at bad registrations IMHO.
